Self-proclaimed maths nerd Sid Neigum started out studying science before enrolling himself at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology in 2009. Since then, the Alberta-born Toronto-based designer has won numerous accolades, including the Mercedes-Benz StartUp award and the Swarovski Emerging Talent award, for his sculptural silhouettes.
